Yesterday, August 5th, I had the pleasure to find out that Le Crayon‘s latest EP was finally available on iTunes & Beatport !
And I have to admit, it’s far better than I expected, espcially when you listen to the first single ”Give You Up”, that’ll make you dance like crazy, and its different remixes.
For that matter, if you are more into “smooth” and “lounge” tunes right now, then you should check out Darius’s rework, which is simply a killer mix !
You can almost picture yourself listening to this remix while sipping a mojito and watching the sunset on the beach.
Oxford has clearly a thing when it comes to remixing stuff.
Check out his last rework of “Zero” by Chela for example. At first, the french producer brings you to a peaceful universe.
And then, here comes the drop you least expected, carrying you slowly to an amazing disco galactic place.
Quiet a journey, right ? And it’s a free download, so you can thank Oxford for it !
Hey Audience ! Sorry for the lack of articles in here, July was kind of a busy month. But here I am with a fresh remix (well not so fresh but it’s a cool one though) : Oliver Nelson‘s rework of “Eddie” by Everywhere.
And let’s just say, I was kinda suprised by this mix. It’s definitely the most ambitous rework made by the Swedish producer cuz it’s clearly different from what we usually expect from him.
If you are familiar with Oliver Nelson’s work, when you listen to it, you have that indubitable desire to dance. But when you listen to Eddie‘s mix, for one time, you just want to enjoy that moment peacefully, letting the notes flow through your ears.
I also recommend you check out the original tune, completely different and yet as great ! And be sure to grab your copy of Everywhere‘s EP on iTunes.
New Oliver Nelson‘s remix has just hit his soundcloud page and as always it’s summer before time.
It’s a rework of “I See You” by Jutty Ranx, their first single.
You can almost feel the sun shines on your skin while listening to this tune, which ends with an amazing – and yet quiet discret – synth solo.
Shook has been digging in his archives lately and found in them an old remix he made two years ago : a rework of “Lifeline” by Jamiroquai.
A free treat which reminds me of how I love Jamiroquai but most of all how I can’t remember a tune from Shook that disppointed me.
Synth, bassline, vocals. Everything’s in its right place in this great remix, sunny as always.
