I’ve been eager to share this one with you for a long time, being able to listen to it exclusively in April when Continental Records shared it with its subscribers on Soundcloud.
And finally, Jean Tonique‘s latest remix of “69” by Fancy is available for purchase on iTunes.
This rework instantaneously took me into its funky universe, very colorful. As regards Fancy’s original vocals, so good how you can almost sense Prince‘s presence !
I’m pretty sure you are all listening to the leak of the new Daft Punk album right now, but it would be wise to stop playing it for the next four minutes, just to lend an ear to POINDEXTER‘s new remix.
Trust me, you won’t go far from France ! The american producer reworked “Trying To Be cool“, a track taken from Phoenix‘s latest album, “Bankrupt!”.
If you are familiar with Breakbot‘s excellent work, this funky remix should remind you of it with its catchy basslines and sunny vibes.
When some old-school french touch band meets the rising electro-pop producer Giraffage, you get a genuinely soaring remix.
“Music Sounds Better With You” by Stardust, Thomas Bangalter‘s side project, was in my opinion the kind of track that should never be altered, simply perfect in its original form when it was released in the late 90′s..
“Was”, because after listening to Giraffage’s rework, I have to admit, I was clearly wrong. This remix is just amazing. The vocals are well-sampled and the instrumental parts simply rock.
I’m simply amazed by Jean Tonique‘s latest remix, a rework of Jabberwocky‘s “Photomaton” out now on iTunes.
That’s typically a tune that everybody needs to listen to start a week on positive attitude. I feel like being possesed by it, feeling every notes, every chords, every words under my skin.
It’s like, there’s been written “play me on the beach” all over it. Need holidays now…
Don’t remember exactly when I ended up following Yazid Le Voyageur on Souncloud, but I’m pretty sure it was after listening one of his awesome remixes.
Take his last piece, a rework of “Fuck your friends” by Sondi!, for exemple. Love his style. So fresh and yet full of old-school influences taken from the French House early days.
A sunny tune you need to download right now !
